The text, graphics, layout, software and other material on this website, and the Hostripples name and logo, are owned by Sarps Technologies LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. All rights are reserved.

Permitted Use

You may view this website and print or save pages for your own use in evaluating or managing Hostripples services. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify or distribute our content, or use the Hostripples name or logo in any way that suggests an association with, or endorsement by, Hostripples, without our prior written permission.

Third-Party Trademarks

Content Hosted by Our Customers

Customers retain ownership of the content they host with us and are solely responsible for having the right to publish it. Under our Acceptable Use Policy, hosting material that infringes another person's copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights is not permitted.

Reporting an Infringement

If you believe that content hosted on our network infringes your copyright or trademark, email [email protected] with the following:

  • your name, your organization and how we can contact you;
  • a description of the work or mark you own, and evidence of your rights in it;
  • the exact web address (URL) or location of the material you believe is infringing;
  • a statement that you are acting in good faith and that the information you have given is accurate; and
  • a statement that you are the rights owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

What We Do

When we receive a complete report we will investigate. Where appropriate we may contact the customer concerned, and we may remove or disable access to the material while the matter is reviewed. Services of customers who repeatedly infringe the rights of others may be suspended or terminated. Hostripples will be the sole arbiter of what constitutes a violation of this notice, and does not issue credits for outages resulting from a service being disabled because of a violation.

Notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

Hostripples responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512). Our designated agent for notices is: Copyright Agent, Sarps Technologies LLC, 364 E Main Street, Suite 1004, Middletown, Delaware 19709, USA. Email: [email protected].

A notice must be in writing and include:

  • a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  • identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  • identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, such as the exact web address (URL);
  • your name, address, telephone number and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  • a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed.

DMCA Counter-Notices

If material you posted was removed or disabled because of a DMCA notice and you believe this was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send our designated agent a counter-notice that includes: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material and the location where it appeared before it was removed; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Hostripples may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or their agent. We will forward a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice and may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless we are told that a court action has been filed.

Repeat Infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the services of customers who are repeat infringers.

If Your Content Was Removed

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake, email [email protected] with the affected web address and an explanation, and we will review it.
